Operations Team

An organization can only perform as well as the necessary information its back office provides. Especially in venture capital business, the information needs to be precise and fast – and that’s exactly what our Operations Team does day in and day out. Based in Zurich and Munich, the team focuses on finance, legal affairs and human resources; two General Partners act as the CFO and legal counsel, respectively. The team’s regular responsibilities include support in establishing modern reporting at the portfolio companies and answering their questions concerning accounting, financing or legal issues.

The employment of a dedicated HR manager, Sabine Scherer, is what sets Wellington Partners apart. Sabine assists all of our portfolio companies in assuring smooth recruitment and in building the management teams that are vital to their success. Her network opens the door for start-ups to the leading executive search companies as well as to the alumni networks of top-flight universities and employers.
