As Senior Java-Developer at GameDuell (www.gameduell.de), you can expect a high-traffic games platform with over 10 Million players. Your Tasks

With the Architecture Team and top-class Seniors, you'll work to develop and scale up our core technology. The focus and particularly challenging part of your duties is to continually scale up our system to meet the permanently increasing requirements for performance. This includes the complete spectrum from analysis, conception, implementation and documentation, specifically of critical system components, for example: game server enhancements, expansions and new Community features, or the opening of the system for integration into external platforms. We strongly value intensive teamwork, so we can work out the best possible solution.

What we expect from you

• Excellent knowledge of Java and Unix
• Experience with Jini, JMS, Spring, Hibernate, relational databases, scaling of high-traffic platforms and service-oriented systems are an advantage
• 10 - 15 years professional experience as Software Programmer
• Ability to work independently and in agile teams, strengths in analytical thinking, quick comprehension, goal-oriented and pragmatic
• High commitment levels and a strong will to get something done
