Ulrich Granzer
Venture Partner
Ulrich Granzer joined Wellington in 2004 as a Venture Partner on the Life Science team. He advises on drug development and regulatory affairs. He has also been closely involved with the Wellington portfolio company immatics as a member of its supervisory board, providing regulatory guidance.
Since 2002, Ulrich has been working as an independent consultant to both pharmaceutical companies and biotech start-ups in drug development and regulatory affairs. Prior to setting up his own business, Ulrich served in a number of management positions at renowned pharmaceutical companies. From 1998 to 2002, he had global responsibility for regulatory affairs, first at BASF Pharma and then at Bayer. Ulrich began his industry career in 1989 at Glaxo, where he stayed for nine years, serving as Head of Regulatory Affairs Germany and Member of the Global Regulatory Board.
Ulrich holds a post-graduate degree in Pharmacy and a doctorate in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
