About Chirag
Chirag expands the footprint of Wellington Partners in the Digital Media sector since March 2009. Based in London, Chirag sources and evaluates new deals and supports the current portfolio. He is complementing the Wellington Digital Media team very well, as he has focused on private equity and the Internet since the beginning of his career. Before joining Wellington, Chirag was Loyalty Programme Manager at eBay UK, where he was responsible for planning and delivering key customer loyalty programmes and managed a multi-million dollar budget. Chirag joined eBay in 2006 as part of their Customer Insight and Strategy team and gained some more international experience through an exchange program as the Consumer Segment Manager for eBay Belgium as well.
Chirag started his career as a consultant at Bain & Company, where he advised PE-financed companies among others. In 2003 he graduated as a Master of Engineering from Imperial College London after studying electronic and electrical engineering with management.
