Olivier Schuepbach
Principal, Munich office
Olivier joined Wellington in 2006. As Principal, he primarily focuses on sourcing and evaluation of new deals for the Technology team and participates in deal making on selected investments opportunities.
Swiss native, Olivier has an international track record in innovation in the Wireless industry. He contributed to establishing Texas Instruments as the leader in chip security for mobile phones with the launch of M-Shield™ technology. In this role, he created and managed a worldwide team and he extended operations to India. Olivier managed relations with leading global mobile phones manufacturers and further developed the ecosystem of flash manufacturers. He also incubated multiple activities, which have now turned into independent teams.
Olivier started his career at IBM, New York and Zurich where he participated in the development of a new type of processor targeting 3G handsets. He has written several patents.
Olivier holds an MBA with honors from INSEAD (France/Singapore), with an exchange at the Wharton Business School, and a Master's degree in Telecommunications from the EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), with exchanges at the Technical University in Berlin and Eurecom Institute in Sophia-Antipolis.
