Wellington Partners has been one of the most successful pan-European venture capital firms and a market leader in Germany for more than twelve years. With funds totalling some € 800 million, we invest throughout Europe in companies that have the potential to become real market leaders.
We are committed to providing outstanding entrepreneurs with the necessary resources to fund their growth strategies. We typically lead financing rounds ranging from € 5 million to € 50 million. Depending on the maturity of the company, our own commitment can go as high as € 25 million.
Our investment professionals operate out of four offices, located in London, Munich, Zürich and Palo Alto. The pan-European and transatlantic make up of our organisation enables us to help to expand our portfolio across many dimensions. As a result we have been actively involved in most facets of international expansion, including
- Expanding operations to the US and to AsiaPac
- Rolling out operations across Europe
- Building up production in Asia
- Off-shoring or near-shoring of software development
- Moving headquarters to Silicon Valley
